Overall Purpose of Role:
The Business Development Manager position is a proactive sales and sales management role primarily responsible for identifying and developing sales opportunities and solutions in assigned area. Identifies and helps to develop strategic relationships with partners or potential clients. Success in initiating and developing international sales and marketing of technology and technical services involving reservoir characterization using well, seismic and CSEM both for conventional and unconventional reservoirs. This role will be based in Europe.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for the regional sales in assigned geographical area.
- Ensures that sales results meet business plan forecast.
- Utilizes marketing tools to enhance the sales process.
- Responsible for customer presentations and trade show activity.
- Ensures complete customer satisfaction along the project cycles. Provides follow up, and support to new and existing customers.
- Maintains current training on company products and new developments.

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
- BS or MS in geology, geophysics, physics, applied mathematics, or related field.
- 10+ years in Business Development geophysics, geology, reservoir engineering or petroleum engineering
- Flexible and motivated.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of some of the following required: reservoir characterization workflows, rock physics modeling, seismic pre-conditioning and inversion, fault and fracture network characterization, multivariate statistical correlation of production data, 3D geo-modeling and static reservoir modeling, DFN, CSEM inversion and interpretation Excellent communication skills ; able to effectively communicate and present complex ideas and technical information to mixed audiences
Desirable Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
- Proven track record of sales and marketing
- Foreign language skills for Europe position
